Are Sherburne County Jail Mugshots Public Record?
In Minnesota, booking photographs are generally treated as public law-enforcement data under Minn. Stat. section 13.82, subdivision 26, according to Minnesota Data Practices guidance cited in the research. How Long a Mugshot Stays on the Roster
The official county pages reviewed did not state a fixed number of hours, days or weeks for how long a booking photo remains visible after release. The Sherburne roster is described as a database of inmates currently in custody at the Sherburne County Jail, which means a name or image may disappear when custody status changes. Historical booking-photo access should be handled as a records request to the Sheriff's Records Division rather than as a promise that the roster will keep old photos online.
